Hi, I’m Jon and founder of Attached Counselling and Psychotherapy. If you’ve already visited the About page, you’ll know a bit about my background. But if not, I’m a qualified and registered Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist.
My approach to therapy is flexible and client-led. Rather than sticking to one specific model or theory, I integrate different counselling approaches to best support each individual’s unique needs and goals. This means we can work together in a way that feels tailored, respectful, and truly personal to you.
My professional background is in community substance misuse and mental health, where I have supported individuals with complex needs using a holistic, person-centred approach. I work collaboratively with clients to address challenges that affect various aspects of their lives. Both my professional and personal experiences have shaped my belief that there is no one-size-fits-all solution. Instead, I value the use of diverse and integrated methods to meet each individual’s unique needs and goals.
I aim to use this space to offer my services and to address relatable issues that affect so many of us in today’s world. My hope is to foster genuine connection in an increasingly disconnected world, and to help you navigate life with greater self-understanding and resilience. Through Attached Counselling and Psychotherapy, my aim is to make therapy accessible and meaningful; a space where you can feel safe, heard, and empowered.
